Learn the basics of preparing the IRS Form 990 and its related schedules and what all nonprofit organizations should know about the form. Even if you do not prepare your own return, this class will help you work more efficiently and effectively with your tax preparer and will improve your basic knowledge and understanding of Form 990. In addition, you will gain insight into the new environment at the IRS and what your nonprofit organization needs to do to stay compliant.

Presenter:

Richard Scoresby is a senior tax manager of CBIZ MHM, LLC and provides tax and consulting services to many nonprofit clients. He has over fifteen years of accounting experience including over ten years of public accounting experience providing tax and accounting services to individuals, nonprofits and small and large companies. Richard regularly attends national nonprofit tax training in Washington D.C. He has also instructed at the national MHM Nonprofit Conference and in local seminars to nonprofit organizations. Richard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA) and is licensed to practice in the State of Utah. He served two years as the Chair of the UACPA Nonprofit Committee. Richard graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Accounting in Tax.
